Try to eat 5-6 smaller meals per day rather than the traditional 3 meals for rapid weight loss. This will ensure you keep a high metabolic rate to burn calories throughout the day but will also ensure you have a steady supply of energy throughout the day limiting the storage of unused energy intake.<br/><br/>2. Try to include a source of protein with each meal you have. This will have a two-fold benefit &#8211; it will keep you feeling full for longer and also slow down the digestion and absorption of your carbohydrates &#8211; great for rapid weight loss! Good sources of proteins can be found in nuts, protein shakes, fish, red or white meat.<br/><br/>3. Include &#8220;essential fats&#8221; in your diet (not saturated fat!), these are necessary for brain function and nerve conduction but can also aid in fat loss. Essential fats can be found in oily fish, nuts, avocado, olives etc. But remember &#8211; eat it small amounts, it is still fat!!!<br/><br/>4. Include resistance training and interval training in your workouts &#8211; these types of training will not only boost your metabolism dramatically but you will also benefit from increased calorie burning post-workout compared to low intensity cardio workouts.<br/><br/>5. Then this article was written with you in mind. Your motivation will take off when you learn and apply the tips below. I encourage you to read on and find that reason to say &#8220;I&#8217;m ready&#8221;!<br/><br/><strong>Weight Loss Motivation</strong><br/><br/>1. Recapture your desire. It is easy to resign yourself to being overweight and slowing down but this causes you to miss out on many wonderful things in life. Recapture you desire by creating a list of reasons losing weight would be a blessing for you and keep writing until you feel a natural stir of motivation.<br/><br/>2. Keep your desire fresh. We are creatures of habit which makes it very easy for us to fall back into an old pattern. To avoid this you must constantly (at least 3 times a day) remind yourself of why losing weight and eating healthy is important to you. Write a reason on a 3 x 5 card and keep in somewhere you will read it often.<br/><br/>3. Commit to doing one thing really well. It can feel overwhelming if you have a lot of weight to lose or if you focus on the &#8220;work&#8221; that needs to be done to get the pounds off. To avoid this overwhelm simply take on one task at a time that benefits your goal. For instance commit to keeping a food journal every day, no matter what and when you have succeeded at that you will be ready to take on bigger and better things.<br/><br/>4. Cancel negative thoughts. The past is the past so let it be. If you have failed at weight loss in the past you might find a lot of negative thoughts creeping into your head this time around. When you hear those thoughts interrupt them by saying CANCEL then shift your focus to all of the good things to come as the weight melts away.<br/><br/>You can find the weight loss motivation you need, in fact it is inside of you right now and these tips will help you pull it out so you can use it.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><br/><br/>From my work in weight loss life coaching I see a major obstacle for many people is that they set a goal to lose the weight only to break that promise to themselves within a few weeks. If this happens too often the person develops a pattern of failure making it harder and harder to lose weight for good. But what if I told you there was a way to ensure that you keep your weight loss promise to yourself? Well, there is and if you would like to learn how then I encourage you to read on.<br/><br/><strong>Weight Loss Life Coaching Advice</strong><br/><br/>1. Don&#8217;t fall into overwhelm. When you think of losing weight do you feel overwhelmed by the amount of work or the amount of time it will take to reach your goal? By focusing on the daily tasks that are involved it is easy to feel that there is just too much and quit before you even start. Instead shoot for short-term goals. For instance, commit this month to eating vegetables with every meal and cutting out refined carbohydrates. By setting shorter goals that automatically lead to weight loss you avoid the overwhelm.<br/><br/>2. Actively shift your focus. When you find your mind is pulling your down and coming up with reasons why your plan might not work actively shift your focus and remind yourself why your goal is important to you and what losing the weight will mean to you. Research shows that a focus on the positive keeps you motivated longer.<br/><br/>3. Avoid &#8220;all or nothing&#8221; thinking. The truth is every person who has every reached their weight loss goal has had a bad day and eaten in a way that was not on their plan. Do not think that you have blown your diet if you have a bad day. The key is to get right back on track and you might even find that this slip up works out to be a strong motivator for you.<br/><br/>4. Ongoing support. You are not alone in your desire to lose weight. Find a mentor who inspires you to reach your goal and a group of others who want to lose weight and you will have the ongoing support you need to leap over obstacles and keep going.</p>
