If you were a parched traveler in the middle of a hot desert looking for water, you can imagine what a welcome sight a lush oasis spotted in your path just up ahead would be. That is exactly how jaded bank customers who have been paying too much money in overdraft fees to their bank each month feel when they find a no-overdraft-fee bank: a sense of pure relief.

Why We Pay Too Much in Overdraft Fees

Banks bring in over $25 billion each year in overdraft fees alone. That is “billion” with a “b.” Guess who is footing the bill? Average citizens just trying to scrape enough money together each month to pay bills and get by, that’s who. If asked, most people would agree that they do not feel they need to help banks out financially in this way. (Banks are already getting plenty of help as it is).

But, what exactly brought us to the situation with overdraft fees that we find ourselves in now? How is it that banks can be making such a killing in fees? The answer lies in the relatively recent rise in two related banking phenomena: overdraft protection programs and the debit card.

Overdraft Protection Programs Are Not Your Friend

Overdraft protection programs certainly sound friendly enough. When they were introduced about a decade ago, most consumers took them for what the name implies: a way for the bank customer to be protected from checks and other charges “bouncing” due to insufficient funds in the accounts. And, in a way, this understanding is accurate: these programs do indeed protect bank customers from having their checks bounce or debit card transactions rejected.

However, that’s where the “protection” ends. You see, even though your bank will cover those charges for you, they will also turn right around and charge you an overdraft fee for the trouble. These fees usually range from $25 to $35 or more. That means that just three overdrafts in a month can cost you over $100!

Debit Cards Make Things Worse

What really has made the whole situation more difficult is the rise of the debit card. Debit cards that are attached to a checking account are so convenient to use. After all, it is so easy to make a charge on your debit card for the goods and services you need. But here is the catch that most consumers don’t know about: your debit card transaction will be honored by your bank, even if you do not have sufficient funds to cover it.

Now, this sounds like your bank is doing you a favor, but remember, when you have overdraft protection in place, the result is – ding – yet another charge to your account. These can really add up fast, putting you more in the hole. The whole situation is set up to basically invite more overdraft charges into your life.

How to Find a Bank with No Overdraft Fees

If you want to find a bank with no overdraft fees, check out these tips:

1. If you live in the U.S., make sure that the bank is FDIC-insured. This means that, even if they were to go under, your funds would still be safe.

2. Choose a no-overdraft-fee bank that allows you to sign up online.

3. Make sure the bank gives you access to a nationwide ATM network so you have ready access to your cash.

Once you find your no overdraft fee bank, you will be glad that you made the switch. The monthly savings will be noticeable right away, since you will never have to pay an overdraft fee again!

Re-design with profits in mind

If your website still has text in Times New Roman, uses pop-ups, fits within an 800×600 screen resolution and has no mobile access, it’s definitely time for a new web design! However, re-designing means taking things into account that aren’t necessary for new sites. Today we check out some expert web design guidelines for refreshing your site, focusing on creating something that’s both attractive … and profitable!

1. Get it right to begin with

When you are in the planning stage of your web design, it is very tempting to just try something out, get it up and see how people respond to it. After all, it can always be changed … can’t it? It is true that you can change your web design whenever you like, but you’ll most likely be alienating customers in the meantime. They have to struggle through with an un-polished design, and then re-learn how to use your site after you’ve made the changes – which could be fairly major.

2.

Changes to strangers?

Don’t make your users feel like strangers when they visit your new site. Changes should be incremental, and if possible, focused on the web design itself, rather than the navigation or functions of the site. To some extent, the web design is superfluous to your visitors – they mostly want to ‘do’ something on the site, rather than just stare at the pretty background. Keep the navigation and functionality constant; focus on visual rather than ‘mechanical’ changes.

3. Hit the analytics reports

One of the wonderful things about having an existing site is that you already have an idea of what works for your company and industry. You know which pages users like, which have a high bounce rate, and which they spend the most time on. Let your web design professional in on what the analytics say as well, and you’ll have a site that’s not only pretty, but gives your customers what they need and want.

4. Always have old pages redirected

There’s nothing more frustrating for a user than going to an old bookmark, or finding an old link and getting a 404 message … but not being able to find what they are looking for! Your web design team can ensure that all old pages are redirected to their new equivalents.

5. Include a search box

It is fairly easy to include a custom search box – and even cheaper to go with the Google version – and it adds immensely to your site’s usability. If any old pages slip through the cracks, a search bar ensures they can be found again.

6. Be individual

Web design trends move in waves – try not to push your web design team in a stylistic direction that everyone else is taking. Not only will your site look like a ‘face in the crowd’, it will also look dated as soon as the trends shift.

7. Integrate your SEO from the start

It is far easier (and more sensible) to implement your SEO-based changes from the get-go. Any good web design team will make sure you have the clear and logical site structure needed for SEO-friendliness. Your site should also have:

- Fairly short URLs without unnecessary gobbledegook on the ends
- Keywords integrated into page names and URLs
- Relevant and unique meta descriptions and titles
- Alt tags on your images
- HTML and XML sitemaps

Keep these guidelines in mind when planning and executing your new web design, and you’ll be on your way to a site that’s not only pretty, but user-friendly and therefore profitable.

When it comes to trading FOREX, most traders concentrate on technical indicators as they are the most objective and powerful method of trading this volatile market. However, there are many indicators in the technical analysis world – and in this article we will attempt to present the best.

Moving Averages
As simple as they are, moving averages are one of the most powerful technical analysis tools. Having said that, one still needs to have a strategy of using them. The cross strategy is a the most known one though the least powerful. The most powerful method is the Bounce. A bounce happens when price touches a moving averages and bounces off it. This trading signal is extremely strong and result in very quick and strong trends. Look out for bounces next time price comes closer to a Moving Average.

Bollinger Bands
The Bollinger Bands are also a traditional technical tools which are very good for providing leading trading signals. The best way of incorporating them in your trading is to use them as boundaries for price. The lower band is the lower barrier (support) and the upper band is the upper barrier (resistance). A profitable strategy is waiting for price to touch the lower or upper band of the Bollinger, and starting to move in the opposite direction. This signal is stronger when the middle band (Simple Moving Average) is not sloped (flat).

Commodity Channel Index
This indicator was developed by Donald Lambert 30 years ago, and is still used today – a proof of its importance over changing market environments. The CCI is very useful in gauging periods of overbought and oversold in price. Readings below -100 are considered oversold and readings over 100 are considered overbought. Crosses of these levels can be used to generate trading signals. Moreover, a famous strategy is used with the CCI indicator, known as Woodies CCI. It involves interpreting patterns on the CCI indicator, and is also a profitable strategy.

Shoes or not shoes… it’s totally up to you. I would suggest that you start wearing shoes if you plan to do performances in the future. Would be kind of funny if you got a performance in a stadium and performed bare feet=) It is a bit different to juggle bare feet and with shoes.

What kind of shoes are best then? The easiest guideline I would give is that the shoe should be sort of flat and at the front(where your toes are) it should not be hard at all, no sole attaching there etc… totally soft. You want to feel the ball! Also if it’s hard and edgy in the front the bounce can be kind of odd sometimes.

The next thing to think about it the sole… if you move on to more advanced tricks you want to have a sole that allows you to juggle with your soles(soccer boots sucks when it comes to sole tricks). Personally I prefer turf shoes because one you freestyle on concrete you will wear the sole out, and a turf sole lasts longer. You might find it a bit harder to do sole juggles with turf shoes… but it’s all about practice. Also after a couple of weeks of practicing there is almost nothing left of the studs.

A lot of people prefer indoor shoes though. They are great but as I mentioned above, they doesn’t last for as long and they are as expensive as turf shoes. So I would go with turf. Futsal shoes is starting to get very popular but since a lot of them have a rather thin sole they last even shorter. But they are really great, they are very light and you can really feel the football when you’re juggling. I would like to recommend “Nike First Touch” if you would like to go for a turf shoe. They do the job for me and I really like them. At one point I bought 4 pairs so I knew I had new ones when it was time to change.

You might also wonder how long a shoe lasts for… well, if you only freestyle indoors they last for a long time. If you freestyle on concrete you will wear them out. How long they will last depends how much you freestyle. But to give you some guidelines, if you freestyle for around 2h a day they will last for around 3 month.

I hope you know a bit more about shoes for football freestyle now!

Everyone wants to know the secret to gain muscle, power, size and strength the fastest way possible.

Well, here it is.

Suck down strength powders and creatine.

Nope.

Hop in a deep water tank to flush out your bad dreams and replace with positive ones.

Nope.

Standing on your head for two hours a day so all the blood rushes there to give you more mind power to explode into your workouts.

Nope.

Here’s the skinny — from the one and only Vinnie.

The quickest way to do so is to take your muscles to the point of exhaustion til’ you can do another single rep.

Then your muscles will say, you may have got me today but tomorrow will be another story. All the micro tears will repair your muscles bigger, stronger, and faster. Plus, you’ll have more strength and energy in your reserve tank ready to be unleashed the next time.

The human body is truly an amazing self-healing instrument.

And you can apply this to quick-twitch muscles (using low rep – high weight) as well as slow-twitch endurance muscles (using high rep – low weight).

Once fully healed, you’ll be amazed at the extra bounce in your step and tone in your muscles.

Now the challenge if you are just starting out is not to overdo it.

My sister started doing hindu squats a few months back and she nailed 65 her first time. Twas a great outting for someone who had never done them before.

The bad news was she couldnt walk the next day. She pushed herself past her limit.

But after I taught her some of the endurance building techniques in Triple Your Endurance, she never had another challenging experience recovering the next day.

So in the beginning simply start a routine and get the feel good endorphins flowing.

Then once you are at a point where you are consistent for three weeks straight, apply extra reps and weight to your sets to fatigue the muscles. Make sure to take your muscles to the point of failure on the last set.

This will also blast you through any kind of plateau you might be facing too.

Now if you are a seasoned fitness fanatic, I would NOT go to failure on every workout.

I would suggest only once a week or every other. Give your muscles a chance to recoup. Thats all you need.

This process doesn’t have to be painful. The process of healing will be energizing if you do what I instruct in Triple Your Endurance. You’ll recover quickly and easily AND with less pain the next day.

Simply follow my lead in the program.

Applying these simple techniques above will grow muscles and mold you into a powerful lean, mean, fighting machine.

This practice will also give you the endurance needed to be an Energizer Bunny in any task you face.

Unleash Your Endurance,

Vince Palko
