Momentum is based on the theory that a market in motion tends to stay in motion; meaning that if a market has finally gained up enough steam to head in a specific direction then it will tend to remain moving in that direction. Moreover it will take a decent surge of counter pressure to get that market to turn around.<br/><br/>The theory is simple of course, as all theories are, but the practice would be much harder if it were not for one of the most beautiful trading tools called the stochastic indicator. The stochastic is nothing more that a momentum indicator that can give advanced warnings of a market that is weakening in its resolve to continue in its current direction.<br/><br/>How It Works<br/><br/>The stochastic is a set of at least two lines with the title %K and %D. These two lines have differing sensitivities to market fluctuations, with %K being the most sensitive. These lines are plotted on a scale from 1%-100%, with 100% being the highest possible value. There are many ways to use these lines as market triggers but here are the top 2.<br/><br/>First is an overbought and oversold indicator. When the lines on a stochastic indicator move below the 20% range or above the 80% range these are triggers of a market being over bought or over sold. A simple trade would be to purchase when the stochastic breaks out from being below 20% and moves upward. The opposite would be equally true. When the indicator breaks out downward from 80% would be a time to sell short, or exit a long position.<br/><br/>Secondly is trading the crossovers of the lines. As you recall there are two lines in a stochastic indicator (%K and %D). When these lines cross there is good reason to suspect that a market trend is about to change. Now this alone can be a great trigger for trading in or out of a Forex position. However when combined with the ranges mentioned above you have a more sure thing. Waiting till a stochastic falls below the 20% mark AND crosses the other line can yield a high probability trade. The opposite is of course true when the indicators are both in the 80% or better range.<br/><br/>Used as timing indicators, stochastics can be a real help to timing Forex market positions and they are best served when used in conjunction with other indicators, either fundamentals (economic conditions) or technical (classical chart patterns).<br/><br/></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Not another article about QR Codes!  99% of the articles about QR Codes are not really about QR Codes at all – they are about mobile advertising campaigns.  This article is about how to have success designing and printing QR Codes that can be printed and that people can scan with success.  A Code that’s hard to scan will be quickly ignored by consumers and it will fail to achieve any market success.  That’s what this article is about – how to produce QR Code symbols that will be successfully scanned.  While few in number, these basic points are so little know that they are practically secrets.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. Start with a short URL</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">There is no reason to have a long, multi-tiered URL, in a QR Code.  And the penalty for having one is huge.  Rather than mycompany.com/marketingcampain1/qrsymbols/magazines/mymobilelandingpage.htm</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">just use mycompany.com/123456.htm and have that link redirect to whatever actual landing page you want.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. </p>
<p>Convert domain names to upper case</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Did you know that within the internet domain names are not sensitive to upper and lower case?  That means that MYCOMPANY.COM is equivalent to mycompany.com.  .  Upper case letters are encoded into QR Codes much more efficiently than lower case so you can save a lot of room in the QR symbol by using upper case.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3. Keep the module size large</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This is the key to success.  QR symbols in which each module is at least .030 are easy to read.  Larger modules are better still.  However, make them too large and the overall symbol will grow to over 1 inch.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">4. </p>
<p>Keep the size of the symbol to less than 1 inch</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The problem with large symbols is that to capture it with a phone’s camera you have to back away from the symbol. And by backing away, the resolution on each module is reduced.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Not surprisingly, the 4 recommendations above are interrelated:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Start with a short URL so the overall symbol does not have to use many modules to encode the data</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Converting your domain name to upper case further reduces the number of modules required</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Keep the module size large so it will be easy to read, and this is made possible because you have so few modules and you can then keep the symbol size to less than 1 inch.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Verify the print quality of the symbol</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">There is a <a href="http://www.webscaninc.com/">barcode verification</a> grading system in the world of bar codes that gives a quality “Grade of A, B, C, D or F to a code.  The best codes with an A grade are easier to read than codes with lower grades. Generally speaking, any code with a grade of C or better will be readable by any scanner, but for safety against dirt or other wear and tear that may occur on a symbol it is best to make sure that your symbols get a B grade when they are produced.  Technically, a bar code grade is only valid when it is associated with a specific type of lighting and resolution “aperture” so this would translate to B/10/W or sometimes 3.0/10/W (where B is represented as 3.0).</p>
